Intern Concept development

You learn concept development, meeting design at event agency Obsession in the planning department. Our expertise and size of the company ensure that we have our own concept specialists within our company. During your internship you can immediately start working with the applications, pitches and tenders that we receive. During the creative process, but also during the research phase and elaboration of the plan.

Obsession creates events to achieve sustainable growth for its clients. Growth of people, brand and organization. We do this together, with passion, dedication and expertise. We combine strategy and creativity with a hard working mentality and we are always there for each other. We are Obsession. Partners for live.

What we do

Due to our size and experience, we are at home in the public and corporate sector. We are allowed to work for a wide variety of clients, ranging from Schiphol, Adyen, KPN and bol.com to various ministries and the United Nations. In this way, we work on tenders and corporate pitches at the same time. Our events generally take place in the Netherlands, but we have various international clients for whom we cross the border.

Internship Planning

The event concepts are conceived and developed in the planning department. With a good dose of originality, expertise and organizational strength, we work on concepts that are touching and feasible. Each event has a different goal, target audience and budget. Every plan is unique. You will experience the entire process several times during the internship; from intake to presentation, starting with active participation in brainstorming sessions and desk research. In the process you also help select suitable suppliers, such as locations, artists and speakers. After requesting quotations and information, you process this input into a total concept, proposal and/or budget. After devising and presenting the plan, the event is realized by the project team. Of course it is good to experience what your plan looks like live on location.
