After a year of silence, Schiphol asked us to breathe new life into their Neighbour Days. The Schiphol Neighbour Days 2025 focused on connection, transparency, and positive experiences. Schiphol wanted to strengthen its relationship with the local community. Not only with long-time fans, but also with those who hadn’t yet discovered the many sides of the airport. Because Schiphol is more than just an airport. We were asked to share our vision for repositioning the Neighbour Days, with the ambition to welcome even more visitors than two years ago.

Result

From this refreshed positioning, we developed a vibrant and meaningful concept together with Schiphol that brought the core values of the Neighbour Days to life. In addition to the familiar public days, we introduced an extra day especially for students and potential colleagues — offering a unique behind-the-scenes look and opportunities to meet professionals in the field. Information and experience were seamlessly combined: live demonstrations by the Royal Marechaussee and Customs, information stands hosted by Schiphol partners and airlines, and family-friendly experiences such as climbing into the snow fleet or being lifted up in KLM’s de-icer. A roaming DJ and an acoustic trio added the right atmosphere. Thanks to precise organisation, clear routing, and our full support in registration and partner coordination, everything ran smoothly. The 2025 Neighbour Days received glowing feedback and visibly brought Schiphol closer to its community.
